Chilkoot Update
What you need to know about this new, unique land
- Chilkoot is a new land which has two levels, an above ground and underground mine location. Both of these locations have their own goal side-quests and both will give a land clearing reward (gift box).
- Chilkoot has no key building to construct. There are no barter recipes and no storage building here. It is strictly a resource land with quests and great rewards.
- Chilkoot is a temporary land, however it will remain on your map permanently until you start the timer, once the timer starts, you will have 90 days to complete all Chilkoot quests, goals, and lands clearings (upper and lower).
- There are 4 possible locations the mine entrance can be. See the possible locations on the maps in this album. The location for each person is RANDOM. This means, you will have to find which location your mine entrance is on your own.
- You must complete the quest line in Machaon before you will get the quests for Chilkoot. Do not worry, there is no rush, the land will not disappear on you if you do nothing.
OTHER TIPS BEFORE YOU PROCEED:
- If you plan on clearing Chilkoot upper area, you will need a dynamite to remove a tree locked in by fog.
- The timer will be initiated after you enter the mine and see the cut-scene. Thus you may be able to work on clearing the upper land without a timer if you avoid going into the mine right away.
- Do not chop down all the underground rocks in the mines areas BEFORE doing the quest that asks you to chop them, otherwise you will have to spend emeralds to skip it.
