📢 Sled Upgrade FAQ 📢

Klondikers, the following upgrades will make your traveling easier by increasing your sled’s distance, load capacity, or speed.

👉 There are 2 types of sled upgrades: temporary and permanent.

👉 You can create most of these upgrades in key buildings in expedition locations, but some of them can be only bought at the Market.

Here is the list of Sled Upgrades:

- Fastener. Allows you to place any equipment so that it doesn't occupy space in the sled. You can get this upgrade in the building of Khanbulat or buy it at the market.

- Falling back +150. Will let you to load 150 extra kilos of cargo without losing speed. However, this upgrade wears out after 1000 days of travel. You can make it in Woodside’s key building or buy it at the market.

- Falling back +250. Can be made at Utopia. This temporary upgrade (500 days) helps to carry 250 extra kilos of cargo, i.e. +1000 kilos to your cargo if you add it to all the 4 slots in your sled.

- Skids grease. Will increase your sled's speed by 10 km per day. Yet it expires after 120 days of travel. It can be made in Mirages or bought at the market.

- Structure Reinforcer. A permanent upgrade that allows to carry 250 extra kilos of cargo, yet your speed will be reduced by 4 km per day. You can get it only at the market.

- Soft harness. Prevents the dogs’ fatigue and allows them to run for 2 more days without a break. You can either buy it or create it in Indigo.

- Navigator +15. Will allow you to optimize your route and follow the flat road, thus increasing your average speed by 15 km per day. It can be purchased at the market or obtained for completing all quests in Sol.

- Navigator +30. Will allow you to optimize your route and follow the flat road, thus increasing your average speed by 30 km per day. It can only be purchased at the market.

- Hanging feeder. Allows doubling animal feed reserves. However, it becomes unfit for use after 360 days of travel. You can find its recipe in Indim.

- Falling back +750. Allows to carry 750 extra kilos of cargo. The additional skids remove extra burden from the dogs which helps to prevent speed loss. However, it becomes unfit for use after 200 days of travel. Can be made in Sol.

- Falling back +1000. Allows to carry 1000 extra kilos of cargo. The additional skids remove extra burden from the dogs which helps to prevent speed loss. However, it becomes unfit for use after 300 days of travel.
